The immediate purposes of this guide are to learn about the CEDAW and its achievements, as well as to provide clues to its use in action. In this way we wish to help counter the lack of dissemination and guidance that hinder proper information about CEDAW and its mechanisms of action. It is produced not only in support of better information, but for the use of such information in more and better interventions.
