Financial collaboration means to us an investment for change, an investment aimed at overcoming gender inequalities and the factors of exclusion and discrimination that undermine women and girls’ human rights.

¿How you can help?

We provide the following guidance to make sure your valuable contribution is in accordance with the commitment made by public entities in support of development initiatives worldwide.
For example, Catalan cooperation gives priority to the allocation of resources towards three fundamental strategic goals for women and girls’ rights, on which there is a minimum percentage that should be allocated in resources:

• Human rights objective: 15%
• Empowerment of women objective: 15%
• Rights and basic social services: 20%

If you earn € 1,000 a month, you could donate annually 15% of your monthly salary. That is € 150 a year that you could deliver in shares of € 5.12 per month.

Also:

• You could contribute with 0.7% of your net income. Just as we demand the governments of the “North” to allocate at least 0.7% of their GDP (Gross Domestic Product) to their budgets for development, you could also contribute with your 0.7% to support initiatives that promote and protect women and girls’ rights. If you earn € 1,000 a month, you could give € 7 a month or € 84 a year.
• You could contribute with 1.2% of your net income. The Spanish government spends 1.2% of its GDP on military budget. You can contribute the same amount to peaceful and democratic actions in support of initiatives promoted by women to overcome armed conflict and promote peace processes. If you earn € 1,000 a month, you could donate €12 a month or € 144 a year.

There are several posibilites:

Companies:

• Invest through a donation of resources aimed at developing awareness initiatives, campaigns and elaboration of materials that would allow us to raise funds for other women’s empowerment projects
• Join with other companies to generate groups of donors
• Encourage the creation of a circle of donors between the company personnel
• Hire Indera Consultancy to undertake social responsibility projects with a gender perspective for women and men of your company

Individuals:

• Be part of the foundation’s circle of donors
• Invest in women and girls’ human rights through annual occasional donations
• Join a group of volunteers that contribute with their talents during their time available
• Participate in custom shape donations
• Schedule solidarity tourist stays in countries where women’s organizations we work with are able to offer their skills and knowledge about the area, its history, its demands and foremost, a way of feeling and seeing the world.
• Support resource mobilization campaigns
• Publicize the work of Indera Foundation among your family, friends, work environment, etc.
